Actually the price for a battery depends upon how many hours you can keep your laptop working. Thus, it mainly depends on purposes you use your laptop for. If you travel a lot, you definitely need an extended power source. If time has come to replace your laptop battery, keep in mind that it should be compatible with a laptop make, in spite of the fact that lots of batteries these days are compatible with all makes. Then consider two major ratings on it: Volts and Milliamps. The voltage should be within 10% of the original battery voltage.
